Product Information

Piriton 4mg tablets Chlorphenamine Maleate which relieves hayfever, irrritation from insect bites, skin and food allergies. 

  • May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid Alcoholic drink.
  • Do not take Piriton if you have ever had an allergic reaction to Chlorphenamine or other antihistamine (or any ingredient listed on the pack) or if you are taking (or have been taking in the past 14 days) any monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicine (sometimes used in depression).
  • As with all medicines, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under medical care or currently taking any medication, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
How To Use
  • Adults: 1 tablet every 4 – 6 hours. Maximum of 6 tablets per day
  • 6 – 12 years: Half a tablet every 4 – 6 hours. Maximum of 3 tablets (i.e. 6 halves) per day.
  • Elderly: 1 tablet every 4 – 6 hours. Maximum of 3 tablets per day.

Do not exceed the stated dose.
