Step 1: Prep Your Nails
• Clean, trim, shape, and lightly buff your natural nails.
• Remove any old polish or oils so the base coat sticks properly.
Step 2: Apply the Base Coat
• Shake the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat bottle well.
• Apply one thin coat to each bare nail.
• Cap the free edge of the nail (run the brush horizontally across the very tip) to help prevent chipping.
• Let it dry for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 3: Apply the Cajun Shrimp Lacquer
• Shake the OPI Nail Lacquer Cajun Shrimp bottle thoroughly to mix the coral-red pigments and avoid streaks.
• Start at the center of the nail a couple of millimeters away from your cuticle, let the ProWide brush fan out, and sweep toward the free edge.
• Apply your first thin coat and cap the free edge. Let it dry for 1 to 2 minutes.
• Apply a second thin coat of Cajun Shrimp for full, vibrant coverage and cap the free edge again. Let it dry.
Step 4: Seal with Top Coat
• Apply one coat of OPI Top Coat over the color.
• Cap the free edge with the top coat for extra chip resistance.
• Let your nails dry completely. (Tip: You can use a drop of OPI DripDry Lacquer Drying Drops on each nail to speed up touch-drying.)
