1. Preparation
• Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.• Clean your clipper and nail file with rubbing alcohol to keep them sanitary.
2. Clipping Your Nails
• Hold the clippers firmly in your dominant hand.• Flip out and rotate the lever/handle into position.• Align the curved blade with the natural shape of your fingernail. Leave a small, healthy white edge—do not cut too close to the pink skin (nail bed), as this causes pain or bleeding.• Clip the nail in two or three small, controlled snips across the curve rather than trying to cut through the entire nail in one single squeeze.
3. Filing and Smoothing
• Lift the built-in metal nail file from the clippers (or use a separate emery board).• Place the file at the edge of your nail and file gently in one direction only (from the side toward the center). Avoid sawing back and forth, which weakens and splits the keratin layers.• Smooth out any sharp corners or rough snags.
4. Clean-Up
