1. Prepare Your Skin
• Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly.• Make sure the skin is completely free of creams, oils, or lotions so the adhesive can stick properly.
2. Apply the Plaster
• Remove the protective paper backing, being careful not to touch the sticky adhesive side.• Place the plaster directly over the blister, making sure the cushioned area covers the spot.• Firmly press down and smooth the tapered edges against your skin so it seals tightly.
3. Leave It in Place
• Keep the plaster on until it begins to loosen or detach naturally (it can stay on for up to 7 days).• Do not try to peel it off early, as the hydrocolloid gel acts like a second skin to cushion pressure and protect the healing tissue. (Note: If a white bubble forms underneath, this is normal—it means the hydrocolloid is absorbing fluid from the wound)
